Shipping Policy

Free Delivery Within North Bay

Music City offers free delivery within City Limits to postal codes beginning with P1A, P1B and P1C, excluding P1B 8G2, P1B 8G3, parts of P1B 8G4, and P1B 8G5. Free delivery is available only during Music City’s business hours, excluding Sunday and statutory holidays. When selecting this option, you will be contacted via email or by phone to confirm that you are eligible for free delivery and to arrange for a delivery time. If someone is not present at the time of delivery, a door-hanger note will be left indicating that the item can be picked up in store, or you can arrange for a new delivery time. Customers must show ID and online receipt when accepting in-home deliveries.

Shipping Insurance

All shipments are insured through our shipping provider.  Music City will pack and secure your items as safely as possible but once the shipment has left our store we are not responsible for any damages that may occur in transit. Any visible damage to the packing container prior to opening must be claimed with the courier at the point of receiving.

All shipments will require a signature upon receipt, and unfortunately we cannot offer shipping to PO boxes. If your mailing address is a PO Box and would still like to order an item, please contact us at 1-877-895-9411 and our staff can make arrangements to ship the item to you.

Canceling Orders

If you need to have your order canceled, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been packed and shipped we will simply refund you via PayPal. If the item has already shipped, you may refuse the delivery once it arrives at your destination and it will be sent back to us. If the item has been received by you before we have been contacted to cancel the order, you must follow the same procedure as a refund. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay for shipping costs to send the item back. You will only be refunded once the item has been received by Music City and inspected.

Return & Exchange Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return the item within 10 days of receipt of the item. After the 10-day period the return is subject to a 15% restocking fee. All items must be in 100% original condition with no signs of wear or damage and with all of the original packaging, documents and accessories. Music City reserves the right to determine if the returned item has experienced any wear and tear, blemishes, damages or any other factor which may affect its resale value as a new item.

Products labeled as “Final Sale”, “Clearance” or “Discontinued” are not eligible for returns for refund or exchange, unless the item is defective and still covered under warranty.

Shipping charges for return items are the responsibility of the customer. If the item you purchased was eligible for free shipping, the shipping charges for returning the product to us will be deducted from your refund or store credit.

If you have received a damaged or defective item, Music City will send you a return authorization number and contact you to arrange for a pickup. Shipping costs will be refunded to you once we have received the item and our staff has determined that the product is defective. Returned packages without a return authorization number may be refused.

Warranties vary by product line and may not be listed in the product documentation you received with the item. If you are unsure of your item’s coverage under the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact us as soon as you experience any defective operation from your product. Please note that the following items are not covered under warranty:

  • Mouthpieces
  • Harmonicas
  • Earbuds or in-ear monitor headphones
  • Computer software or items with software that has been registered
  • Reeds
  • Ear plugs
  • DJ cartridges and styli
  • Vacuum tubes
  • Consumables such as strings, picks, drum heads or rosin

In-Store Returns

Returns or exchanges from online purchases may be brought in-store for processing, and will only be accepted with proof of purchase. The standard terms in our Returns & Exchanges Policy also apply when bringing back an item in person. Returns brought back for refund will be reimbursed by its original online payment method, or can be applied as store credit. Items brought back in-store for exchange can be refunded any remaining balance by cash, credit card or debit, or can be placed on store account.

Group Sales

Music City offers discounted pricing for schools, churches and other institutions. We can also accommodate bulk orders and multiple items. To obtain a quote on items and to verify pricing please contact our sales representatives at sales@music-city.ca with a list of your requested products. Our reps will review your request and send you a quote or contact you with any questions or concerns. All quotes sent from Music City are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote. If you wish to move forward and order from an outdated quote, please contact us so that we may send you an updated quote, as often times pricing from our distributors necessitates changes.
